Hello, residents and friends of Shepherdstown. As many of you know, the Town Council approved the creation of an email list to facilitate communication about Town activities and events.
The fundamental purpose of the list is to allow Town governance to more fully inform residents about events and issues that are likely to be of interest to those of us who live, work, or spend time in our town. We anticipate that the list will be used to send both routine and more unique or “one-off” messages. By routine, we mean items such as agendas for various Council and Committee meetings, reminders about important policies, and announcements about town sponsored events (e.g. parades, fall clean up week, etc.). The more unique messages would include announcements about things such as a street closure, a water main break, or other unscheduled events that many residents would consider important and timely.

If you prefer not to use the link, you can write to Amy Boyd (Town Clerk) at the email address below to request to be added to the list. Please be sure to note the email address you’d like us to use for the list.
And, if there are others in your home who would like to be included, please write to Amy to request their addition.
