Shepherdstown Police Department is accepting applications for the position of Certified Police Officer

The Department’s staff currently consists of four full-time officers including the Chief of Police.  Shepherdstown has a population of 1,700, a University with its own police force, and a vibrant economic base with a substantial visitor component.  Applications may be picked up at the Shepherdstown Police Department (104 North King Street) between the hours of 9:00 a.m. and 4:00 p.m., Monday through Friday or can be obtain on the Town’s website www.shepherdstown.us .  Applications will be accepted until close of business on Monday, January 30, 2012, and can be hand delivered or mailed to P.O.
