The Corporation of Shepherdstown will hold its General Election on Tuesday, June 1, 2010 to fill two year terms of Mayor, Recorder and five Council Members.   Candidate filing took place from March 1 through March 12.  The following candidates filed for office:  Mayor - Jim Auxer, Recorder - Lori Robertson, Town Council (five seats) - Bane Schill, Wanda Grantham Smith, David Rosen and Josh Stella. 

The Corporation of Shepherdstown Municipal Election will be held on June 1, 2010, in Shepherdstown at the Entler Hotel located at the corner of German and Princess Street.  Polls will be open to voters from 6:30 a.m. through 7:30 p.m. Early voting will start on May 12 through May 29 during regular business hours of TownHall. Town Hall will be open for early voting on Saturday, May 22 and Saturday, May 29, 2010, from 9:00 a.m. until 5:00 p.m.  For more information contact the Town Clerk at 304-876-2398.
