Engineering designers for Alpha Associates, Incorporated presented the project design and anticipated timeline.  University personnel were available to answer questions about the project. 

The pedestrian underpass is slated to be constructed at the intersection of Route 480 and West Campus Drive.  A 2010 federal appropriation through the efforts of Representative Shelley Moore Capito will provide $400,000 toward the project, approximately 10 percent of the expected total cost.
