Passport Mobile Parking App Comes to Shepherdstown

Shepherdstown, WV - Effective Monday, February 1, Shepherdstown is introducing a new mobile app to make parking around town easier. Passport, the industry leader in mobile payments for parking and transit, has partnered with the Borough of Shepherdstown to launch its smartphone application to all on-street parking spaces. Passport’s solution is replacing Shepherdstown’s previous mobile payment provider in an effort to bring a more user-friendly solution to its drivers.

Users can register for Passport’s app quickly and easily with its one-touch Facebook login, or by entering their phone number or email. With Passport, users can extend their session remotely, at no additional cost. Users can also receive an alert 15 minutes prior to the end of their parking session and keep track of all parking history.

“The Passport app is the most intuitive mobile payment app we’ve seen in the industry,” said Mike King, Shepherdstown Chief of Police. “We’re committed to delivering the highest quality technology to our citizens, so we’re sincerely looking forward to introducing Passport to the drivers of Shepherdstown.”

The PassportParking app is free to download from the iPhone App Store and Android Google Play. Users can also manage their parking online at ppprk.com.
