11:00 a.m. Easter Parade on German Street

In celebration of Shepherdstown’s 250th Anniversary, we are proud to announce the Annual Shepherdstown Easter Parade and Egg Hunt! The event will take place on German Street on April 7th at 11am. Participation in the parade is welcome from all and festive Easter dress, costumes and hats are encouraged. Registration starts at 10:00am at the corner of German and Church Street. Be a part of a small town tradition and trot down German Street with the Easter Bunny and other cheerful marchers. Several judges stationed in front of the Shepherdstown Library on the parade route will be awarding prizes to the best Easter hats in several different categories. Categories in different age groups include best boy, girl, adult, family and pet. The event will be capped off with an Easter Egg Hunt in the back lawn of White Hall. A special thank you to parade organizers and volunteers including Shepherdstown Elementary School, Smallwood Small Insurance and the Shepherdstown Business Association.
